Had issues for quite a while adding new places. Unless they’re quick wins or an offer, they don’t show up on my map or list any more (after card hacked, started again and still can’t get done of my favs). Am yet to find a solution.
I've noticed now that it's back online that I'm having trouble finding places as well. My "Visited" list is filled with places I've never been to but that are nearby and the map just seems to be missing a whole heap of places. It's much harder to use than it used to be.

yeah, i noticed the same with the platinum charge & LC.

my explorer was maxed out with 10k LC before the deval for 2019 :)

It seems that at present the “Membership” button has been deleted from both the iOS and Android versions of the Amex app. It was until recently placed in the middle of the row of buttons at the bottom of the app screen.

This means that the Local Champion module cannot be viewed. Furthermore, I can no longer easily monitor my total rewards points using the app.

Perhaps Amex has withdrawn Local Champ?

Update: The above related to yesterday. The "Membership" button has now re-appeared and Local Champion service has returned to normal.

This happens from time to time, although I've still had transactions counting for LC go through when that button is not available.

I also find that I can use the map view in LC to try and add places when the "Find new places" or whatever glitches out. It works sometimes...

Any tips for getting a business I frequent added to LC. It isn’t appearing on places nearby. I have LC at that business on another card but due to changed earning rates want to get it onto my platinum card.

Anyone else noticed problems with Local Champions? I no longer seem to be able to add business except through the frustrating map.
