A vast majority of the first 20 transactions were for chewies / drinks / tic tacs and vicks vapor drops. Cost maybe $150 all up. And could have done it for less buying the paper and what not.

I've just registered for Local Champion, but there doesn't seem to be many participating businesses in Adelaide? Are the businesses listed in the app when you 'search this area' the only ones which participate?
I can't find any supermarkets at all

I'm in Adelaide and have lots of choices.
Just a couple of mine. Coles is there but not on the screen. I've only started this a couple of weeks ago.

Thanks Pushka - is there another way to find business besides the 'search this location' function on the app?
or you you need to shop at a business/supermarket before it will show up?

I was able to select most from the map in the app but Coles didn't show I think until I used the card there.

I reckon the shop may have triggered some (but not all) of mine off.

Few weeks ago, my app on both iOS and Android doesn't show the ability to add new places (existing places still remain in the app and can still earn bonus as local champion). These few days I can see 2-3 stores in the Melbourne CBD, no more. I deleted and resintalled the app but same problem.

Anyone has the same issue?

After reaching about 30,000 bonus points on my edge card I suddenly got a message that my run was over as I had reached the 10,000 point target. Now to fire up my husbands edge card for local champion.
The last time I checked, if you go to the store it will come up on nearby options. Or do a shop there and it will come up as a shop to select. But haven't added a shop these last few weeks.

Anyone knows if possible to check if a merchant is part of Local Champion? Is there a list?

Or normally if the merchant is part of local champion, does it appear in the suggested merchants (based on past transaction) after a few days? If it doesn't appear, I assume the merchant is not part of local champion?

I have a purchase of more $5k for new air con system and the bonus points would be nice...

My only annoyance with this offer is that the local champ doesn't apply to supplementary cards.
It'd be great if they too could get involved!

If you use apple or android pay you dont need to have 2 physical cards so your supplementary holder can contribute via the primary. Obviously doesnt get round the points-cap issue

I've unexpectedly managed to get LC at my local council where I pay for my kid's daycare, and they don't charge a surcharge. Turns 0.5 ppd into 1.5 on Plat Edge, very nice.

I've just tried to go in and add a new place to my Local Champion but as soon as I tap "Add a New Place" instead of getting a list of places I could add I get the error, "We're sorry, Online Services have been unable to complete your request". Been happening on both my cards for two days now.
Anyone else having issues or is it just me?

Had issues for quite a while adding new places. Unless they’re quick wins or an offer, they don’t show up on my map or list any more (after card hacked, started again and still can’t get done of my favs). Am yet to find a solution.
