Yep last night wasn't too bad in London town. Weather today isn't too bad either. Still jacket, scarf and Beanie weather but quite nice really.

Weather in London not looking great this weekend. Should be warmer than Glasgow though....

Met office predictions for where I live (just over the Thames in London from where we are meeting. Literally could walk it in less than 30 min) have 3pm as an apparent temp of negative 6. Brr. And actual temp is around zero.

Also light snow predicted around midday, but clearing to overcast by three pm.

Rug up. Brr. Is all I can recommend!

It's not snowing *that* much! All the stuff here is melting as soon as it hits the ground. Still it's blissfully cold. That makes me very happy

Yeah OK, ill pay that. Still where I am today (much further north) there is more than enough snow to make a village of igloos an entire snowman town population and have snow left over for a good old fashioned snow fight!

You had better start passing laws to make opening fridge doors legal as that would warm the place up to 3 or 4 degrees.

That's only because there's a bit of rain too... I'm now covered in snow and well drenched but at least I got some killer bargains while out shopping

Ah there was/is no rain around here. There was a decent flurry just after I posted, but still it's all melted already. Was a very nice view from my window watching this afternoon

I do like snow. Prefer warmer weather of course... but snow is nice too at times. What I hate is ice, for example where I am now there is snow and slush everywhere. Tomorrow that will likely turn into ice. Hazardous.

And 80pc of trains from here tonight have now been cancelled. I'm aiming for one in about 40mins, but that will be subject to delays etc.

cough day to be heading north from London.... if I turn up disheveled tomorrow, its because I've slept somewhere dodgy due to train canx.

Oh they were. Lovely weather for it!

And a huge thanks to Mal and Dan for the train fun (what's travels without the odd re route) and a great pub roast. Was with regrets I had to leave the drinking. Am now in the care of a plebby E class to LHR

I'll be back (hopefully sooner than later; stupid cheap booze)!

Well today was a great day. Good fun overall and thanks to drewbles and Princess Fiona (and flashware) for making it a great day.

Good company, good drinks, very interesting topics of conversation, and lunch was nice (but I feel bad we didn't manage a dinner ... sorry Princess Fiona) .
