LOL. Flights booked already and not sure it would be easy to find award availability now.

Last minute availability tends to be the best way to get to often difficult to reach places :mrgreen:

But then you'd need a backup plan as well? In my experience last minute airfares can be very expensive.

That's bad luck - we will still be in London those dates so if anybody interested in a night out just holla.

I'm not a scratching yet, but if I get a role I've applied for, will be working those nights.

I'll play it by ear at this point, there's no guarantee I'll get that role, and if I get it, in June, things will be rejigged anyway and I may not be required to work nights.

London experts - I am devastated - I have just discovered that The Only Running Footman in Mayfair has closed - Cruiserette and I shared a Chateaubriand here 2yrs ago and it was so good we were determined to return and 'play it again Sam!'

I thought indeed might have been a good location to share some AFF company. Anybody know if this closing might be temporary or permanent?

Looks to be permanently closed. I'll pop past there sometime next week and confirm.

Which area is your hotel in? I'll start thinking about classic pub locations nearby.

The only running footman has been reopened as 'the Footman'.
The Footman, Mayfair

Kitchen is marked as 'Closed for refurbishment' on their website, and I popped upstairs and the dining area did appear pretty forlorn (This was around 6pm)

Dinner @ Dinner does seem to book out early, so sooner planning is probably better than later. Chose a night (I'm available all Three), let's start a new thread and see if there is any other interest.

Booked for 2 @ 18:00 - only slot available (unless you wanted 21:00 + ) . Shouldn't be an issue for me to get there by 18:00. Can cancel up to 72 hours, but there's a £50/pax no show penalty if you fail to cancel.
