Can anyone confirm Bankwest World MC works? It should being a MasterCard, but can anyone confirm?

Yes it does work from personal experience:)
For those considering this option, BankWest told me this morning that supplementary cards are issued with the same card number as the primary card holder.

As a result two or more people can't use the BWMC unless they have their own card.

Not sure about that but I have not tried using the main and supplementary BW cards at the same time as yet.....

As everyone said, it works - very easy and convenient. Don't need Oyster at all, make sure you use the same credit card though each time for the daily limit to take effect.

We both use our Oyster cards in the U.K. They only cost £5 and last for years. We have them in our U.K. travel wallets along with our rail cards. I prefer not to over use a credit card on public transport especially with hackers able to grab details when your card is out of your security credit card wallet.

My cards don't leave my wallet. PayWave (Contactless) works fine as long as the card is stored in a separate area to other PayWave cards.

I don't think I'll personally worry about RFID blocking.

Are the card numbers on your primary and supplementary BanWest World MC different? When I phoned BW they said supplementary cards are issued with the same number.

They are the same....interestingly when I use the card online, a screen sometimes pops up asking in whose name is the card in....so not sure if we can use both cards simultaneously to catch the tube in London

The Transport for London website says no unfortunately. Their system can't differentiate between two cards with the same number.

Slight change of location rather than topic, is there a similar card available in Paris, and is it too much to ask whether a CC would work similarly to the way they do in London? Thanks in anticipation to anyone who can advise on this.

As another data point, I successfully used my Commonwealth Bank platinum Amex to tap on/off the London Underground on multiple occasions last week and it worked fine.

I was also able to go online to get a trip list / receipt for the journeys. It worked seamlessly.
