Hi all,

My mother is flying from London to Brisbane via Darwin with Qantas. It was due to be via Perth but obviously due to WA restrictions it changed. That's all fine.

The new route (QF10) Arrives into Darwin at 1.20pm, and the second leg (QF825) departs Darwin at 2.10pm. That feels a very tight transfer time (Even though that it what Qantas changed her to). Has anyone got any comforting words that everything will be fine and she won't miss the second leg!?

Many thanks in advance

Sam

If it’s all on the one PNR it should be fine. Even if QF10 is delayed, they would likely hold QF825 as I’d expect there’d be a few pax connecting to BNE.

In addition, DRW is a fairly small airport and customs and Immigration there are quick.

As an indication, my record is 27 mins from wheels down to home when doing Int arrival in DRW.

Most passengers are continuing on to MEL so immigration queue should be short. However, the on-time performance of QF1,2,9,10 hasn't been great so I wouldn't assume DRW-BNE would be held for hours.
