Today's the day for Homer Jay.

If you're in Melbourne & free, come along to Blue Train (Southbank) at 5.30pm for dinner.

After party at the Cheese Grater.

In all honesty I doubt I'll get there. Hope those who make it have a good one!

Now that the game is over & I've seen this guy, I'm off to Southbank & Blue Train.

AAA+++ will buy again.

Thanks to Erkpod and Jess for a great evening, fine conversation and good food. Look forward to doing it all again soon.

Where do you get all the energy?

Does champagne affect the liver? :p
It's because I am never home.

BTW, tonight's "bubbles" were brought to you by the colour clear, and the number 7 (-Up)

Beautiful last full day by the looks of it from the balcony of the Cheese Grater.

Well, Melbourne, it's been fun. I hand the keys of the city back to you this afternoon.

I'm flying out on VA869 (easy to remember the flight number!) with some quality Vlounging & a trip in J to get me over the line for SG. Not bad considering I started this FF thing last October, caught a lot of trains in the US when I could have flew & there were times I didn't fly for weeks at a time.

Thanks to serfty, JessicaTam & hvr for their company & hospitality while I was here.

I'm so glad I was doing the TR as I was going along. There are a lot more photos but I'll add them to Flickr when I get home.

Getting ready to leave the Vlounge now. Thanks to Straitman for keeping me company for part of the trip becoming the first AFFer that I've met in the Vlounge.

Glad you had fun erkpod

Sorry that I didn't make it on Sunday. I was returning from the snow and enjoying some hot jam doughnuts at a roadside stop in country Victoria when y'all were at Blue Train.

As a side note, I'm up for a drink tonight if anyone is around.

Next time!

I'm on a train back home from (Sydney) Central.
