Background to this thread
We have noticed an increase in the posting of questions regarding what Airport Lounges are available at specific airports when travelling on specific airlines. While one can be assured of access at the airline lounge when travelling on that airline (provided you have Lounge membership), thing start to get complex when travelling on a codeshare or partner airline.

Posting Guidelines
Please post your questions about Lounge access in this thread. Be sure to include the airline you are travelling on, the airport (and terminal, if known), and any Airline Status or Airport Lounge membership programs you have.

When answering questions, please include the original question. This will assist in readability and management of the thread.

(Special thanks to Princess Fiona for suggesting this new thread.)

I’m pretty sure that it’s only for International departures.
From memory YVR has separate terminals for Domestic and International flights.
You will have access to the regular Maple Leaf lounge though

Correct about the separate terminals. In fact international departures to the US are separate from the rest of international as well.

I will be on QF0093 MEL-LAX next Saturday morning. I am travelling in J (reward flight) and have Amex Plat (and associated Priority Pass). So I think I'll have access to all of these, which should be open:

Qantas International Business
Centurion
Plaza Premium
The House
Marhaba

(I think Emirates is excluded since destination is North America?)

I'm happy to lounge-hop but probably can't meaningfully hit all five. Has anyone been to all/most recently (in the last couple of months say, since the Centurion rebrand) and can rank them? (I suspect the Marhaba is probably the lowest priority. The House was definitely great back when it was the Etihad lounge.)

Hi all. Apologies, had a look in the threads and couldn’t find the answer I was looking for. Flying VA to Manchester from Brisbane (via Doha on QR operated) later this week and only have VA silver status. Likely gold by end of trip. Wondering best way to get lounge access - is it to pay e.g. plaza premium or dragon pass?

I have a QF/PG PER-SIN-USM Y flight in April & have been able to link a General Pass for Lounge access in SIN but have been unable to add one to access any of the PER lounges. Does anyone know if this should be possible?

It has been a while since I have been there, but the QF lounge isn't referred to as 'the dungeon' for nothing. I would put that last on your list.

The best bet would be to check if there any deals for dragon pass and opt for it as I assume Plaza premium doesn't offer any discount deals for lounge entry. All the best !!

Hi AFF experts , we have upcoming QR flights in economy ( MEL - DOH - LHR and CDG - DOH - MEL). Both partner and I are status gold with VA. How does the lounge access work for Qatar airways if we have status velocity. I have been searching online but don't get a conclusive answer re-lounge. I do understand we can get status credits and points but what is the option around lounge access as we have around 5 hours lay over and hate not to have the lounge access. ta

You should have access to the Marhaba lounge at MEL
The Gold Lounge at DOH

QR only has their Premium Lounge at CDG and there is no status based access there.

I would book online for Plaza Premium, as you save 20% on entry fee.
If you already have dragon pass, then as above mentioned, use that.
Thanks for the tip

Hi folks - are Qantas Club members eligible to access Admirals Club lounges in the U.S., even when flying on all AA marketed flights (trans-pacific)? I have a friend with only QC, who will fly Y from SYD>DFW>BWI and return. Booking via AA.com so all, including the QF flights, will be AA marketed.

The language on the Qantas Club benefits page is somewhat ambiguous. It reads:
When travelling with American Airlines, as a Qantas Club member you and a guest are welcome at American Airlines Admirals Club lounges. Simply present your Qantas Club card together with your boarding pass at the lounge reception. Both you and your guest need to be travelling together further that day on a flight marketed5 and operated by the partner airline whose lounge you wish to visit.
The footnote then says:
5. Includes American Airlines operated flights with a QF flight number on your ticket.

Cheers,
Matt.

That’s still my understanding. QP gets access to AC on AA marketed and operated.

Thank you! Just to clarify - how about AA marketed at QF Lounges? He'll depart Sydney on AA7261 (which is QF7 SYD-DFW); can he access the QF INT J Lounge?

Possibly not - somewhat ironically. The QF website says QF code for access.

Others may have firsthand experience in SYD.

So my mate now tells me he has access to the AmEx Centurion Lounge at SYD... ugh. I told him that will be a damn sight nicer than QF INT J at SYD, and not to bother with trying to get in, there.

Cheers,
Matt

Hi Team,
I'm VA Platinum on a SQ flight out of Singapore. Is there any other lounges I have access to other that Singapore Gold Lounge?

Thanks.

Not by right of status… but thankfully they have at least given the KF Gold lounge/s a bit of a spruce up, and added toilets!

Just realised there are no lounges at MSY or IND for someone flying AA or with OWE status - yikes, going to feel 3rd world.
