Background to this thread
We have noticed an increase in the posting of questions regarding what Airport Lounges are available at specific airports when travelling on specific airlines. While one can be assured of access at the airline lounge when travelling on that airline (provided you have Lounge membership), thing start to get complex when travelling on a codeshare or partner airline.

Posting Guidelines
Please post your questions about Lounge access in this thread. Be sure to include the airline you are travelling on, the airport (and terminal, if known), and any Airline Status or Airport Lounge membership programs you have.

When answering questions, please include the original question. This will assist in readability and management of the thread.

(Special thanks to Princess Fiona for suggesting this new thread.)

Yes still 5:15am

You'll only have access to the QF lounges from 5:15am (either F or J).

Ironically CX don't want to pay to send their own silver members (as CX give silver lounge access without a guest) to the QF lounges therefore give a voucher to the The House Lounge instead but this only opens at 5:30am meaning even less time. When the QF lounges are shut for CX178 (1am departure), all eligible passengers get a The House voucher at check in.
OW website suggests The House opens at 0500 but not sure how accurate. Thanks for the info, I’m happy enough to head to the QF F for some brekky for an hour or so

House is 5:30 as per their own website. The OW website is often incorrect

Hi I'm flying Singapore to Melbourne on Jetstar flight JQ8. I'm a Qantas club member and my family is me my wife and 3 children ages 10, 8 and 5. Will I be able to access the Qantas lounge in Singapore given I'm a Qantas club member?

I believe yes, but expect some potential consideration to JQ8 departing T4 - eg drop bag at t4, sky train to t1, and back for departure. Might take some time!

Thanks unfortunately we have a 7 hour stopover so time won't be an issue

You are guaranteed access for your wife and two children (4-17yo) only, but you might be able to bring a third child pending lounge capacity.

If you are travelling with more than two children to a Qantas owned and operated lounge, the Qantas lounge manager will try to accommodate them, subject to reviewing the space available.

I would recommend sourcing a complimentary lounge invitation and assigning it to one of your children if you wanted to ensure everyone can enter. Or you might want to check the relevant AFF Lounge Meetups thread to see if another member might be able to guest your third child.

Separately, it's worth noting that Jetstar has recently shifted operations to T4 at Changi. The Qantas lounge is at T1. You can still access it, but it might be a bit too much hassle with three kids in tow.

Except for Thursdays, the Qantas lounge opens at 2:45pm. It sounds like you might arrive right at opening time, so I like your chances of getting a third child in.

T1-3 are connected but not T4. There is a shuttle bus within transit to connect T4. Prepare at least 90mins with 3 kids to connect. I will be doing the same in Sept if your flight is after mine. Love to know how you go if you are flying before me and how the laksa taste 😋

i would suggest exploring Singapore. Jewel is great and the kids would enjoy it. I am unsure if the bus tour that you could take without going through customs is back after covid but it was great. There is a hotel before customs with a pool that the kids might prefer more than the lounge

Yes we arrive 2.15pm from Manila at Changi T4 we then have a 9pm departure from T4

Don't mind lugging the kids around given the long delay

Will post updates but it's a fair way off. Our return is on 1st July

Once you reach T4, go through immigration and using the shuttle bus, you should get to T1, which is connect to Jewel via underground.

Unsure if check out of luggages it required but you are required to do so, there is early luggage drop at Jewel. Unsure if it is possible via T4.

After some time at Jewel, you can access lounge via the same path back to T1. The water shows at Jewel occurs twice every night.

Do more research, as I haven’t done this and have gaps in my knowledge.

I have a medical emergency and have to fly from PER to CPH in economy. I have some Qantas lounge passes.

I was wondering if there is any lounge in Dubai I can link these to and get access during stopover? It's a QF codeshare flight with Emirates.

Im sorry if im repeating a question but I haven't been able to see the question asked anywhere.
Thank you

Hi all,

I've had a good look around, both the QANTAS site and on here, but am getting conflicting information. I was wondering if the brains trust here could answer a question for me. We're trying to attain a few lounge passes, as we'll soon be flying:

SYD - DXB - FCO

Then, CDG - DXB - MEL on the way home.

Our flights to and from Dubai are QF8*** references. Which, from my reading here, and what the QANTAS website says about lounge passes, it appears that we may be able to link complimentary passes to these trips?

I did consider purchasing a QANTAS Club membership, but we won't get to utilise it in Rome nor Paris.

Cheers in advance!

QF lounge passes can only be used in QF lounges.

On the above itinerary you will get access with them to the QF SYD J lounge.

You can purchase lounge access in DXB if you wish but I think it’s exx_y.
QF Club members can use the business lounge in DXB as long as they are on a QF codeshare flight number.

Thanks for the response Princess Fiona, greatly appreciated. Even for a lowly Bronze member, we'll be investing in a Qantas Club membership, as the one off tickets for Emirates Business in Dubai is ridiculous. Cheers again.

Hi all, a bit confused by info on the qantas website.
I am Gold FF
Flying Syd - LAX with husband (no status) and 2 kids 15 and 12 on AA (booked on qantas but AA flight number)
Return LAX - Mel on QF

1) Can we all access Sydney Qantas International Lounge given AA flight number
2) My reading is that only 2 of us will get in to OneWorld lounge at TBIT but website does suggest might be able to get 2 kids in

Thanks.
