Serfty wouldn't it have been easier to list them in date order, and I do have to commend you on your search ability to dig up threads from the past.

Mine is 232**** July 99
My dad has a 003 from don't know when; around 1989, and not sure if I can find it on the QF profile,

So the membership numbers increase quite fast over short periods. This was also the time I joined the QP as Life Member.

My 78 year old dads number is three digits starting with 1XX and he is still flying!

I think Amex launched their first product to compete with Qf for points that year!

Now tha is what I would classify as the winner...immediate family of an AFF'er should count

Mine is 00556XX (joined Feb 89) - so shows the slow growth back then. From what I recall of the earlier threads, Ikara was the winner and my uncle is 00053XX (but I don't know when he joined). Nice early number ozbeachbabe

In more recent times have the numbers simply been issued sequentially or do different states/areas have different starting numbers :?:

Well i did a graph on this, but i need to update it with the latest numbers, especially the early ones as I had to discount the 8xx_ numbers as they upset the line of best fit too much. I got to play with the graph to get it into an uploadable format. (in the pub ATM with usb stick back in hotel room)

the graph is a bit dodgy as i just assumed the "x"s were 0. So a 8xx_ = 8, my 140xx_x = 1400. but anyway it is basically a straight line fit. no doubt because i had to drop the early numbers.

Damn - I've got a low FF number (8xx_)and I get excluded from your bloody graph because I don't fit??!!

There's just no bloody justice in this world.
