So I see 3 of the top 4 in QF Loyalty are attending. Is Amanda there? Wasn't sure if that was her in the second photo in post #156

QF: Justin didn't mean to say ASA's are removed. Just the access to classic inventory.

AFF Q: Will Qantas loyalty be sold?

QF A: They undertook a strategic review of the assets. There's a lot! There's no doubt the loyalty business is of significant value for the group. The review is continuing and there is no decision at this point in time to sell down part if the loyalty business. Alan did say if they do, they'd be the majority owner. Qantas will always be the majority owner. No decision has been made. It's ongoing, no announcements next week.

AFF Q: Justin, why did you change the minimum points guarantee? (see photo above)

QF A: Points per $. Rewarding you for higher spend. International v domestic. Goes back to simpler concept. Natural flow between the two. Reward for spending more for fare if two people in the same row, one paid more. Also new earn for some fare buckets in J.

AFF Q: Aquire is intriguing to me as an individual trader who flies a lot?

QF A: The Qantas proposition has a minimum 2-flyer rule but there are many partners. Plenty of expansion coming.

AFF Q: Lifetime Platinum?

QF A: Provides the opportunity for lounge access. Lots ask it. Justin says no. They're not contemplating it.

AFF Q: More shopping partnerships beyond Woolworths EDR?

Working on a number of things. Continue to improve the program. Watch this space.

AFF Q: What will stop users jumping ship?

QF A: They believe they still have the best loyalty program in Australia.

Lesley asking Justin why he changed the minimum points guarantee :D
And the answer was?:) woops!! patience Ron patience:) thanks To the posters must be hard as well as trying to enjoy meal:) Great work guys!!

Thanks to those who attended the event & posted here, appreciate the effort taken.

Photos are always nice too so a big thank you to those people too...

QF Clarification: that the QCASH 2500 bonus points offer for $250 spend is available on domestic spend too.

AFF Q: Will there be any reductions in load time for QCASH?

QF A: Aim is to reduce is to 24 hours. Watch this space.

AFF Q: Big benefits of ASA was the advantage to request an upgrade, can't do this with classic?

QF A: Interesting concept that they haven't really looked at. If they dis do it, is might not be with points or available all the time.

AFF (Medhead) suggests plus pack on classic awards!

AFF Q: Virgin have HH Diamond to Platinums, any ideas to do similar with QF?

QF A: Great idea. Watch this space.

AFF Q: Are DSC's still happening? Not to do with MASA/JASA!

They will do them from time to time. Don't predict them. No rhyme or reason.

AFF Q: What is Qantas loyalty doing to maintain CNS?

You can earn on Jetstar. Want to make sure the two brands play different roles. They do monitor if the route switches to more business. Same for Virgin/Tiger. If business travellers stop flying and don't appear on Jetstar the assumption is they're on virgin. They're looking at how they can offer more recognition on JQ but can't break the LCC model as many Australians want low fares every day.

This lunch has been seriously good value. Really appreciate the openness and transparency from Qantas Loyalty.

Thanks for feedback and photos

Had to rush off unfortunately. Work calls. Wish I could've stayed for chatting. Of course, Murphy says the meeting will be without quorum.

Very big thank you to qantas. They were very open and put up with my whinging in a kind manner. ;)

In Syd QF J lounge with HVr ,Rebekkap, Chase awaiting the arrival if Flying Mermaid
 Not me - wish it were - I had to be a good mother and spend some time with Dr FM in the exciting metropolis of Dubbo....

"DSC are still happening but they want to be unpredictable - so don't rely on them"

I did have to ask if never getting DSC promos was considered predictable.*

* for the record this is a hypothetical never as I've received the offers.
