Finally, someone else with January expiry. I hate it as well, because it can, and often does muck things up.

Oh dear. I have a January expiry. Why is this unfortunate?

I only made SG for the first time this year, but am extremely unlikely to make WP by January.

Me too, I don't mind it because I usually get at least 2 of my required 4~ flights in December.

This year it has worked very well with my big personal trip in January and then a heap of work flying over September -November to gain the big WP.

I remember how great it felt a few years ago when I first made Gold. Actually I feel pretty good about requalifying each year (only been Gold for 3). Never been near platinum in my life!

Hopefully you can requalify next year too!

I made Gold yesterday too for the first time. Quite exciting in a strange way. Quite concerning too, given it's all been in discount economy! My anniversary date is 30 November so it was a bit uncertain for a while there.

Congrats DeKa. I visited the QP as a Gold for the first time today. Strangely, it felt no different than the other time I have been there.

Congrats! I'm planning on making it to Gold this status year, but not until about the 12 or 13 May. Should be SIN-SYD or SYD-BNE (both of which will be the day before BNE-LAX at this planning stage :shock: )

Thanks to all those who contribute to this forum, without your knowledge, I would've never have made gold today. I know I haven't put much into this forum but hope to do so soon.
