Another fan of the MB ice-creams qantas serves, however Miss FM would prefer a magnum.....
Yes it is rather unfortunate that some aspects of the Qantas Domestic Business Class service read more like a supermarket shopping list, than a menu of their executive chef's inspired recipes (just like any fine dining restaurant).QF are the same as WOW, Coles...

Burnt Fig was great... the first 3 or 4 times...
Shhh. You're making a valid point for me actually visiting SAIt makes for a relaxing bite to eat over lunch, overlooking the dam on the deck at the farm shop at the end of Pheasant Farm Road.

How sophisticated a first post is this . . . talking icecream..!!!
My main complaint though, is the speed in which they serve sweets following mains, I would much prefer a longer break.
I had the MB passionfruit icecream the other day and it was so good I asked the FA for a second - and got it.
You mean you want the world's smallest cadbury bar??? Or world's smallest toblerone?
When it comes to serving ice-cream in a premium cabin on transcontinental services, IMO this is how it should be done.

Made to order Sundae on AA.
My favourite MB ice cream is the passionfruit - absolutely devine but it's as rare as hens teeth as I've only ever seen it once.
Second fave would be the vanilla bean & elderflower followed in third place by anything with caramel in it. I'm a bit over the quince & bitter almond though.
We got 2 desserts on the QF7 SYD/DFW - a small tub of rice pudding then a mango & vanilla Weis bar afterwards. That was in whY btw.
I second that - the photo really doesn't do it justice!
