Based upon my experience of processing Qantas Club memberships for AFF the advertised times are 10 - 14 business days for standard processing and 2 - 3 business days for express processing.

I get quite a few emails back from people saying that they have received their packages much earlier than advertised.

regards,

Bill

Do they express post overseas if you are in the middle of a trip? :)

I called up today and while Geraldine in Melbourne assured me that my Platinum pack had been mailed already she also arranged for a non cash card to be couriered to me. We'll see which arrives first - hopefully before next Friday. Watch this space...

My platinum pack took 28 days. It arrived today after qualifying on Jan 10th

It took 19 working days for my new card to arrive in NZ when I reached SG.

Card arrived on Friday making it four weeks. Looking at every one's responses it seems that four weeks is about the average time to receive. That I guess will be helpful for future reference to people.

Though if you think about it, four weeks sounds a long time to prepare what is mostly automated printing requirements....

I am betting they do a run once a week for status upgrades while the normal end of membership year run is done at least a week after the end of month. I have found three weeks to be the norm, perhaps holidays out a dent in the schedule.

Got my Platinum pack today. :)

Well I attained Platinum on 3 February and received my pack today....12 working days...and even less when you consider Australia Post taking extra day to get the pack to Karratha and the fact I didn't pick it up yesterday....so effectively 10 working days. Watching the time posted here, it was a pleasant surprise and it seems they have caught up on the backlog:)

P.S> So up to Platinum and now this is my 100th post so no longer a "Junior Member" win-win all the way!!!!!

Still waiting on my card :( I'm hoping it is there tonight has been about 12 working days :( might need to call someone if it is not there.....

Slipped into WP on Jan 27 and received my "party pack" including bag tags yesterday - so just over 3 weeks when I was expecting it to be 4.

Got my WP pack 19 calendar days after qualifying.

Anyone have any tips on how to cleanly remove the glue like substance on the back of the card?

Thanks! :D Sprayed some cooking oil on the card and was able to rub off the sticky stuff.

I peel off as much of the sticky blob as possible and then dab the sticky blob on the remaining glue on the card, which comes off by sticking to the blob. Might take a few dabs but it comes off cleanly eventually. Highly technical description there...

Hit SG on Feb 3 - after having to call to chase up DSC's - and got my pack on Feb 17.

Miss Nine's PS package arrived today. 24 Calendar days from the online status showing.
She says "Oooh that's nice, I've been Qantas Bronze since I was a baby.
How old will I be when I'm Gold?" :D

I qualified as WP early Feb and they sent me a Gold pack, go figure. Wait or phone...
