Making Planely.com AFF friendly

"Another idea would be to allow the user to create folders so they can compartmentalize their flights according to whatever criteria they deem to be appropriate. For example, if I am traveling to London, then Paris, and finally Zurich, then back to New York City for a study abroad program, I would want to categorize all of those flights under "Europe Study Abroad." The long list of flights can be confusing at times and compartmentalization would add a user-friendly feature."

Great idea - I could imagine that having so many flights on one page could be quite tiresome for the user.

Love your concept and I think it will take off. Just needs more members to make it tick over and add value.

In terms of being able to tag your Profile and proudly show yourself as being an AFFer how about we start with this:
  1. On your Profile page you can check a box to say you're an AFFer
  2. This will then attach the AFF logo against your profile as others see it on their Match page
Stage 1 is complete and live so if you login to Planely you can now tag your Profile with one or all of 'the holy trinity' (as it's been described to me in the past!) - AFF, FlyerTalk and Milepoint

This will then track through to your Matches page so you can spot each other easily. You'll notice the logo is also a link so people who aren't AFFers yet can click on it, open up your site and find out more about you (and hopefully go on to join).

Looking forward to your feedback as always :)

Done. Then I clicked on one of my upcoming flights and got a mangled html page with ALL of the details of all of the other people on the flight ... tried to refresh, and got a 500-Internal Server Error.

Would also be useful if the matches could change to on flight and at airport

Ideally in the future it would be able to distinguish between terminals - eg showing me a match when I am flying out of SYD T1 (International) and someone else from SYD T3 (Domestic)

I love the new ID feature! Super Nick!
Keep up those improvements - loving Planely!

Would it be possible to send a screenshot to groundcontrol[at]planely[dot]com? Great catch :)

Thanks for your feedback :)

Hear you on the terminal point. We're looking at where we can get this data from at the moment. On your first point do you mean to see this on your lost of flights page? So rather than saying '3 matches' it split those out to '1 plane match' and '2 airport matches'?

I have been putting my upcoming flights in that have been confirmed for next year and noticed that the changes QF31/32 to QF1/2 and QF1/2 to QF23/24 are not in there yet. Are they coming soon?
