Interested in people's must do in Malta.

I've reviewed a few TR but if anyone has anything to add I'd be interested.

Someone maybe two or three years ago mentioned some nice apartments in an old building. If anyone remembers that I'd be grateful

We just visited Malta as a cruise stop and had no expectations. We loved it and thought about a land trip. Son and DIL stayed there in an apartment maybe a year ago, in the seaside area and enjoyed it. It does get very hot. Pick your timing. They went in November and it was sunny but not too hot. We went in July and it was hot.

I’m hoping to be there very soon. Last minute trip planning

If you are going soon it will be Winter by local standards, I was there in Feb and found a few things closed, especially the boat tours and summer/beachy things. Didnt actually go swimming.

There is a church for every day of the year, lots of old ruins and temples, lots of history Knights of St John etc, lots of WW2 history, underground caves where they sheltered etc.
You can easily spend 4 or 5 days seeing things.
Do some reading before you go and you will understand things more.

Buses go everywhere and ferries go between the islands as well, also lots of tours who pick you up and drop you off. The main island is only 30kms around so wouldnt bother hiring a car.
