I will be in Manila from Sep 26/27 to Sep 30 and would like any hotel recommendations. I might be travelling between Manila and Olongapo a few times, and wont know what time I will arrive back into Manila. This leads to my one preference. I would prefer that the hotel has 24 hour food/room service/ late night dining available. If that is not possible, then I would prefer the hotel to be in an area where I could easily get food. For reference, the last time I was in Manila, i stayed at The Swagman Hotel in Ermita, which was not my choice. That would be my minimum standard.

I stayed at Hotel Remington in Pasay two weekends back and it is a handy two-minute walk from Terminal 3. It's located next door to Resorts World where plenty of food options are available all day. The Remington is nothing flash but there is also a Marriott and other high end choices if that's your thing. Even noticed they're building a Sheraton in the complex. Can't beat Pasay for ease of access to the airport.

I have been to Manila for work many times and recommend staying in Makati. Close to the malls for lots of food options, not too far from the airport (30 minutes in light traffic, 60 minutes in heavy traffic). Fairmont is the leading hotel in the area and is superb, there is also a Holiday Inn which is more affordable, as well as the Ascott for apartment style. Very easy to get taxis and Uber from Makati as well. The bigger hotels also have good nightlfe if you are after that.

Thanks for the tip on Hotel Remington. I'll look into it.

The Fairmont looks pretty good. How widespread is Uber in Manila?
