I didn't tx points in November.
*Where should I move my NAB Bank points?
*Am I likely to be able to use points to get the flights I need.
*How difficult is it for me to get across this?
*Realistically, can I do this or do I need to get someone else to do it? What will it cost?
Starting from scratch, and it appears you are, it will be difficult. You'll need to comb the various threads here, get right up top speed and then hopefully you will be able to find seats. Fortunately, AI will probably have more award seats available than most. SEE ALSO the very bottom of this post.
Sequence would be:
Consider the two main alliances - Oneworld (Qantas, BA, Malaysian, Finnair etc) or StarAlliance (Singapore Airlines, Air India, Air Canada, Lufthansa Group etc).
If you would prefer AI, then I would choose to look on Star Alliance, and SQ is the transfer partner for NAB points in Star Alliance. OR Virgin Velocity. Its too complicated to explain here how they would come into it, sorry. You will need to research on AFF or the velocity web page.
You would have to join their FF program, KrisFlyer. See if there are award seats either on them, or their partners (a different tab in the KF search page) BE FLEXIBLE WRT destination and timing in searching - you may have to fly into a different airport than you wanted on the Award ticket.
If you see Award seats that would be OK for you, see how many KrisFlyer miles it will take, and the additional cash fees etc. This might be expensive - depends a bit on what airline the Award would be with.
If you are ready to book, and ONLY when you are ready to book, transfer your NAB points into your KrisFlyer account (note the exchange rate) and redeem. Once the points have gone into KrisFlyer they are stuck there and will expire after I think 2 years. You could transfer them into Velocity, with another devaluation.
Sorry, its complicated and not really possible to give the 'how to' in one post.
What I suggest you do is put an
enquiry into AFF's sister, Frequent FLyer Concierge.
Our Australian award booking service can help you redeem your frequent flyer points for reward flights. Get started now with no upfront fees.

Ignore the 'let us find you award seats'. Click on 'how it works' at the top and go from there. Concierge searches for Award seats for your individual circumstances and tells you how to go about it -
but it costs. They will give you a quote first.
Good luck,
