I am somewhat perplexed on how they will control for noise at this location with the roadway being directly underneath it?

Well no opening windows I’m sure, unless you want a lung full of diesel particulates with all those freeways roaring past your room 24/7. The sound proofing must be next level for them to even consider that location.

Yes agreed it is my biggest concern especially if staying south facing side.
 
Where does the St Regis brand fit in to the Marriott portfolio? Is it above JW Marriott?
 
Yes, definitely at the luxurious end of the spectrum. Great to see QLD come along way in the last few years from a luxury and chain hotel perspective.
