"Massive" Qantas 2022 award seat release

Looks like I beat you to it, at least one of the days. I was on at 7am and could only see Mon - Wed LHR - SYD in August each week. The 1st of Aug went very quick and I picked up 2nd Aug shortly after and I'm pretty sure 3rd Aug (along with the rest of the month) is mostly gone now too.

The availability was there but went VERY quick (see my complaints up thread, watching it all disappear while waiting on hold to GCC)

Ahhh you made my day. I was looking at Sunday. Just got of the phone with 2J on Monday, enhancing my mixed J/Y+ with BA to full J on QF2.

I manged to get classic reward J flights for next August, so nice to have something to look forward to :
SYD - LHR (QF 1)
LHR - JFK (BA)
JFK - HKG (CX)
HKG - SYD (QF)

Couldnt find any J availablity from JFK to SYD via DFW/SFO/LAX so having to come via HKG.

Just need to decide what the side trip form London will be.

There was actually a fair bit of availablity on QF 1/2 in July and August

I got very lucky I think - managed to get 2 adults + infant back in J LHR - SYD on QF2 in mid-November.

Very excited to finally be heading home!

I wonder if this was on one of the "Points plane" flights from 14-20 November. All seats were made available as Classic Flight Rewards on those.

It looks like it might be. I can see a few classic reward seats in that week from LHR to SYD. Some premium economy there at the moment.

Even a couple in J there on the 18th of November if anyone is looking to get back to Australia,

Was that one or more J seats ADL-DOH? I too am hoping to reduce segments and taxes this coming september by changing to QR to from Oz but not more than one J award seat showing.

There is a lot of J (even some first) availability on CX and JL routes for next year, I couldn't see any DOH or DBX options for coming home from London.

Yesterday I was able to book two J reward seats on QF10 LHR-PER, for August next year. Taxes for both came to $1,515.

Very happy as I haven't seen much reward availability on this route (for the dates I've wanted).

Morning all - apologies if this is covered elsewhere and is a bit of a 'noob' question.

Its been ages since I've booked a flight using the Qantas tool and from memory there used to be a way that you could bring up a calendar that showed you flight availability for classic awards but the classes as well (i.e. econ/premium econ/business, etc).

For the life of me, I'm darned if I can figure out how to do it. Is there a way of only showing the classic awards but for a certain class? Is it via the multi-city stopover function?

Any advice is greatly appreciated

I couldn't remember how to search QFF flights too. I started a thread and there is info on how to search. Not sure how to add in the link here but this is what the thread is called and there are some screen shots on how to do it

It seems that qantas have changed their search engine, or am i missing something? When I use to search on qantas i could search for a whole month and search on Business or First for the month. I can't seem to get that option now. The other change is that the points seem to have changed also. It...
