That's a good point because if platinum members were not eligible it probably would not have let us register for it.
Cheers

Who knows with Priority. I am registered for the "NEW MEMBER BONUS PROMOTION" and I am far from being a new member, so it most probably doesnt matter

It definitely doesn't matter your tenure with the NEW MEMBER BONUS, I've collected that easily a dozen times over my time with PC

The thing with Priority Club is that just because you can register doesn't mean you will actually get points!

I registered for the 2x promotion. Just earned 94k for my stay in TSV

No, not that I can tell, unless you count the $50 visa card promo for US residents which looks like it runs in the same time frame.

There's usually a gap of a few weeks between the 'quarterly'* promos.

*they often have three a year! They run for about 3 1/2 months, and have a gap between them of the remaining 1/2 month!

Apparently, the next promotion starts June 1, and is for 1000 bonus points per night. Registration not available yet.

20,000 POINTS OR 4,000 MILES 2012/Q3 Code 4669

Welcome to AFF robhut, note that code is for HIX advertisements, they often have extra promos with different codes locally that still include the master promo, so I would wait to see what pops up!

Ironically just after I made that post look what came along:

How do these work with direct-earn to Velocity? If I use Stay 3 get 5k = Code 1385 will I get an extra 1000 Velocity points?

Have cut & pasted details below of the 15,870 points earned for our 2 night stay in HNL on SO's Priority Club Platinum account.

Earlier in the year he got credited 39,000 being the bonus points for the 4 x brand stay promotion last year meaning he only has to earn another 5,115 points by years end so he can attain the 60K required to maintain his Platinum status.

Not bad considering we've only had 2 paid nights as the rest have either been points break stays or points & pay ie nil points earned for the stay.
