I wouldn't mind some of the profits from the cash they have from the over subscription

Yeah, I was trying to find the refund of the oversubscription would be paid. They take the money within a day for the application, but take a lot longer for the refund.

Got the 98% allocation for my personal application - how to spend the refund...

I can't see on Commsec what I got for the super fund - would be the same. Doesn't seem to be listed anywhere I've looked so far.

Price match is $2.41 at the moment.

Retail basically mostly filled to about $10000, and then gets almost nothing (5/6% of overs depending on application status)
Still for those who bid for $10000 and say got 4000 shares, thats a nice $1600 or so paper profit.

Just under 9 million shares to sell at the moment and the match is now $2.35. Some shareholders want to be in there for a micro second I guess.
By noon someone may have made some money.

It should open a little over the $2.15 insto price probably between $2.15 and $2.30 and more sellers keep appearing. They would not be considered long term shareholders.

One suspects there were a fair few hoping to make a quick stag profit, there usually are!

$2.22 I heard on radio just then. Crack open the champers.

So I got just under $7000 worth at $2.00, and I note the closing price today was $2.14. Would the price stay above $2.00 is the big Q?

Can't see much profit excitement myself. I got full allotment of $25K worth through Broker Firm Offer, but I couldn't stand thinking that I might give back to nasty Mr Hockey half (ie at in full marginal tax rate) what that nice Mr Cormann "gave" in MPL shares, if I stagged.

My shares haven't been transferred over to NAB Trading yet but will do so Monday apparently. Maybe that's why so few were traded. Received 2/3 of my application.

Prices keeps going down. Oh well at least the governmnet is happy we sold off another asset.

I'm still waiting for the documentation to arrive because apparently Medibank shares were not matched to the address for our Super Fund, thanks to NAB having two addresses recorded on file. We only registered one with NAB but their "systems" tracked out our home address. So we can't trade them until they go back into the NAB trading account unless we go through a stockbroker. Haven't used a stockbroker in decades.

My refund from the oversubscription was paid into my bank A/c today

Been away and haven't looked at share prices in a while - saw this was at $2.35 which isn't bad. Got to $2.40 at the end of the year apparently.

Pretty good short term profit. If you bought a million dollars' worth I guess!
