Gee, I am spoilt for choice...3 members offering me lifts...now if I can work it the right way, I'll get one from CBD to IC, then next from IC to Northbridge and the third one home to the IC (which would work if I was an RA) :shock:...

We have just arrived home from DRW, for one night, and back to MEL tomorrow so I have not had a chance to look at this. Thanks to everyone who has finished putting this together. We'll plan to be there for 6 pm. I'll have a look through the thread and work out numbers, talk to the friends who have taken me to the restaurant previously and make a booking if necessary. I'll post back with booking details.

With all these ride offers going does anyone wish to come up to Kingsley and pick us up :?: ..... and drop us off there again later ......

Well I queried this morning and they said shipping is in 1.5 weeks.

Then I got an e-mail this evening, confirming it's been shipped today.......

I fly back to ADL on Tuesday (on the 5pm service) and then back to BNE on Wednesday night. D2 can then pick it up from my place.

Now, I need to know what it is (to answer the security questions at the airports ), dimensions and weight; so I can ensure that I can get it back (bring the appropriate luggage). It will need to go in my checked luggage, as I will have my laptop and FF bag (full of client files).

It's a netbook PC, total weight with the extra battery may be about 2kg all up. This depends on the machine arriving Monday.......

I can do any time, if it suits most people to be 7pm, I'm fine with that. Of course. I am at the mercy of my taxi service and the organiser.

At present, those afternoon meetings (3-5pm) are looking shaky, so I might have finished ~3pm. I could get an early start on everyone

Yep, is in a little padded bag type thing. I can show you on Monday night. If it doesn't work, we can leave the original plan of giving to you when I xfr in BNE on the way to AKL.
