I will definitely be putting my money down... however am having a Centrelink issue not unlike what others have experienced here so am currently just waiting on them to get their act together ;)

It's currently chicka and myself, but my mum is receptive to the idea of a Christmas dinner in Melbourne... and my sister lives down there, and I'm not sure what my dad is up to... so perhaps +3 but nothing is confirmed just yet :p

It'll be good to see both of you down here (and maybe more).

No worries, definitely something I can understand. There's no major rush at this point.

Son, my house isn't that big...

For those interested, if you are looking at HSW, the Hilton site has rooms starting ~$500 for Saturday night.
Trivago has rooms from $255. Booking conditions may be different.

I dont think status benefits are honoured via 3rd party bookings.

DT has more respectable rates and is closer to the venue.

And the problem is? ...

;)

Tell you what, let's start a Kickstarter campaign that'll get me to MEL and back to GVA. I'll even go in Y.

:p Just kidding... and no let's not start any associations with that blogger who had a somewhat similar idea...

Looking at the mains, I'm not having anything that is "simply cooked" :p

Depending on where and when they got their fish, there's nothing like a nice fish cooked whole on the bone - sweet, succulent and served with some nice sides.

I confess I know little about fancy food, but is the Salumi mentioned in the Entree actually Salami.
