Maybe. I have been commuting SYD-BNE for 7 years mainly on QF and before this year I could probably count on the one hand the number of times business was not full. Even on 767's. My last 3-4 flights not full in business.

The current airfares on the triangle are too expensive.

Well that's very interesting then. But yeah I've noticed the price increase out of CNS as well. That being said though there has been a reduction in flights CNS-SYD and a downgrade from a 767 to a 737. The CNS-BNE has been consistent in frequency and plane option but pricing has soared both with QF and VA...

I wouldn't have flown JQ had their not been a sale, just would have meant connecting through SYD. This makes things a little easier.
What sale? I must be blind or our definitions of sale prices are poles apart.

By the way I wouldn't want to be paying much more than $99 each way OOL-MEL but that's not likely the week before Christmas. Tiger is $129 each way. Adds up for 2 people.

The flights I've booked are $99 each way on QF. Yes, I have to buy two tickets or chicka would be stranded, but $99 is still a very good price, especially in that week.

Did I miss the sale? I'd take $99 on QF in a heartbeat.

There was a sale with the return of MEL/OOL direct flights this week I think. I am not sure if it is still on.
I couldn't see one.

Back to just me attending so would have been nice to lock in $99 with my expiring vouchers.
