MEL-AKL in F, worth it?

I think they are jokingly suggesting that you havent showered since April....

Thanks BC20, I was starting to think it was simply a dig - we have running water everywhere from all of the rain we get - it's rare to see a creek or river dry-up here in Tassie

So I guess PF hasn't had one since the weekend and you have never had one  is there no running water in Vic or NSW

I guess you had to be there :):)

Its a joke Joyce. Not to be taken to heart. And would have been said to anyone regardless of where they live. Silly Oz humour at work again.

Celebrated hitting Lifetime Silver yesterday with my first shower on a plane, AKL-SYD, definitely worth it :)

my "best" on the A380 is when you saunter down to the shared lounge in your 1st class jarmies and one of the attendants follows you with "your" personal bottle of DOM which you nonchalantly imbibe as all the business chaps are drinking the cooking Moet and glowering at you!! This was after a shower and spa of course.
I hasten to add, lest you think I am super rich, that this was made possible only by using QF points, LAX-DXB

There's a special sale on until 11th December for all fares between Dec 15 and Oct 16. SYD/BNE/MEL to AKL for $199 Y, $649 J and $899 F (return fare same price).

That MEL-AKL in F is suddenly a whole lot more affordable (for two days!)

Really? There's always sales from AKL (and I've taken advantage of those twice) but I've never seen $899 flights from BNE/SYD/MEL! They've always been ~$1300 whenever I've looked.

I had one last weekend AKL-SYD, was no trouble at all. I asked before departure. I think I was the only one out of the seven passengers who had one.

When did they offer straitman? I flew in April and they made it seem it was highly unlikely I would be able to have one - and a few others have had to ask. They certainly weren't offering.
On departure from MEL. Almost straight after t/o.
