The $99 rate is the now defunct (since Dec 1) Hilton Premium club 1 night per year special rate.

Need to surrender a card/voucher on check-in.

At this stage this diamond still had the base room

My new booking now has a "KING HILTON CITY VIEW", although I notice that the hotel is still selling all 4 Suite categories, so there is hope for at check-in upgrades.

Regrettably I am still TBC

I am nil from not-sure-how-many stays as far as suite upgrades go. Exec King for me. Maybe they are holding the suites for you. Mind you - a bed is still a bed.

Data Point: I have never not had a suite upgrade at HotP since being HHD.
