I might show up... maybe :p

I already have a few entries in the diary for this Saturday, but would like to catch up if I can make it work.

Is Baraki any good?

Is Baraki actually there?

It was a construction site last time I was there... unless it has moved premises?

No idea. I have never been. I was looking at reviews and found it. Website doesn't exist.

Anything else decent in Lonsdale Street?

Any updates on venue or numbers?

What is the easiest way to get from Glen Waverley to city? Public transport safe that time of night?

Train - and with the PSO's, PT is generally quite safe these days.

I would say the cheapest way would be on the train, the Glen Waverley line is only about 35 minutes from memory and offers a round trip for the best part of $6.

In regards to safety, I'm pretty sure Glen Waverley line was voted one of the safest a few years back - but travel at any time of night in Melbourne carries the same risks really.

Back on topic, I think it's time to choose a venue. Saturdays are busy in the CBD and most places require advanced bookings.

I expressed interest but a combination of the lurgi I brought back from SIN (has got worse not better) and the need for an early start on the road to Bendigo (lurgi permitting) Sunday morning means I cannot make it. :(
Sorry for late advice.

$6 is the maximum fare for all day travel for public transport on weekends and public holidays - it would be perhaps less if only travelling one-way but I have not checked.

If you don't already have a myki card, they cost $6 to purchase on top of that.

I need to purchase something I may never use again? Or can I get a refund?

How do companies in Australia continue to get away with daylight robbery?
