I'll try and upload the photo from my iPhone when I figure out how to do it. I'm not too au fait with all this tech stuff.

I also have a photo of JohnK being antisocial and playing on his phone... But I won't embarrass him by uploading it.

At the Elephant & Wheelbarrow post restaurant.
Complete with ring in who JohnK picked up from the dance floor. Penegal was away ordering the next round at the bar.

So JohnK. Did you make it to golf and if so how'd you go?
Only just made it to golf this morning. Not feeling well at all. I had 25 points and only 1 par but course was playing very tough. My playing partner had 30 points and he was 3rd or 4th.

Did you play?

No. Slept in till around 10:30 feeling a bit seedy.

She was passing through and I thought our group needed some female company.

At least you were confused for a few minutes trying to work out who she was and how she got into our photo. ;)

Is the pub so called after its frequent visitors who require the use of a wheelbarrow upon leaving?

Big table. Back left as you walk in.

Now home so have time to reply to this !!! Wish we had known this as we were directed upstairs by staff and as we did not know who to look for we did not stay. Will have to catch up either in Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne sometime !!!

What a bother. :(

Next time ask someone for a mobile number so you can ring and check where people are.

Bugger. Next time then.

It's handy if the organiser sends around a message with their number, or even just the name for the booking.
Or if restaurant is clearly informed that table X, Y or Zee is indeed AFF table - might be an idea if first to arrive make that 100% clear - staff on Sat night had no idea about an AFF gathering - it took me a few mins to locate table as I had never met Tom before. Just an idea.

I actually thought of you around 9pm when going through the rough list of attendees in my head.

Apologies jojen, and others for the confusion... Even though I wasn't the organiser I normally try to PM my number around, but was a bit slack given Saturday was very hectic and I didn't leave my house until after the start time of the event.

I imagine it would have been hard to identify us unless you recognised some of us from photos. You couldn't even say you were there for JohnK's birthday as the booking was under slc767338's name.

As it was my first AFF event I just went to the table with a bucket of beer on it. :D

This makes post #10. I was told I needed 15 for some reason?
