MEL Meet A Moderator Drinks/Dinner, Thursday 23 Jan

I have updated the first post with details. I'd like to publically thank JessicaTam, blackcat20 and penegal for pulling this together into a little more of a cohesive event, as I have had little time since I initially posted to dedicate to organisation. They are getting their first drink from me (at Blue Train).

Conference is over but Ball tonight awaits. A quick sleep is also in order

Ive confirmed the booking so all good to go. There is a bar area to go for a drink there as well.

Okay, so for those of us who are not staying at HSW, we can do drinks at the Park Hyatt or perhaps meet at Blue Train early...

Either of those work for me, I'm staying at the PH, don't think I could guest everyone into the lounge :D but the main restaurant would work.

I am not sure why I deserve any credit?

Anyhoo, I will be having a drink at HSW if anyone is staying there. Not in a position to guest anyone, though.

See everyone at dinner at 7.30.

JessicaTam, you are incorrigible.

Actually, penegal's suggestion of an alternative venue for the other end of the city is probably a good option for some.

I am not sure how many of us are staying at the HSW tomorrow night, or the guesting provisions to which we are entitled (I've never guested others). How many want to attend the HSW drinks?? (so we can check with EL Management).

So I guess posting to this thread when you get to either the PH or HSW EL will help everyone to find one another.

Then both groups can descent on the Cafe at the appointed dinner time...

I'm sorry I'm going to have to move to the bronze list, have to be in Adelaide tomorrow for a funeral.
Hopefully I can make it next time!

EL access is available to anyone staying with the person who is entitled to access. Either a Diamond, or Gold/Silver/Blue with an exec room. I am sharing a room, so they will be able to access the lounge.

Unfortunately it is not like QF where "Guest need not be travelling with the member"
