Well I tried to have the MEL / PVG cross platform video conference hook up Face Time blab fest - but wifi or 3G not overly strong in 'Hu On 65' bar on 65th floor Le Rpyal Meridien Shanghai - much better reception in taxi on route Hongqiao Train Station to hotel first attempt hey? Whatever - don't over do it kids - I have seen how some of youse act like 2yos at previous agents - I am counting on penegal keeping you all under control!

Let me rephrase... MY food was good. It would be unfair for me to say anything negative about my food as it was actually quite good. Maybe I was lucky with my ordering?

Having said that, I can see why others might be disappointed if they paid $10 more for half the quantity of food. Also, some aspects of the service were disappointing which is a pity given this venue has been good in the past.

Feedback aside, let me echo RooFlyer's thanks to Hvr for organising. As usual, I think we can all agree the company at dinner was great.

Thank you also to RooFlyer for lifting the bar and bringing a great bottle of wine to share.

Thanks all for coming, the company was great and some good stories told including a couple of confessions,

Wonderful to see an AFFer at their first event.

My steak was very nice and every little bit was consumed.

I copped the PT curse on my way home with the police incident at Flinders St.
