QF in CNS even manage to do Priority Boarding and enforce it these days... much better effort than SYD, BNE or MEL IME.
QF? I am not familiar with that airline - they been around long?

Sorry for the ridiculous OT tracking - Steady did you ascertain where that pesky 600pts came from?

Steady / Rooey - I gotta visit TAS mid Jul - can we arrange dinner somewhere to help Steady with his pts problem? And second Q - does TAS have any airports or is the Chuck Boat my best bet?

We are at opposite ends of the Island - its quite big you know :) - but when you have your dates and places let us know ...

I'd recommend the Spirit of Tasmania (in July ... he, he, he ....) ;)

Not yet, At least I don't think so anyway - I think maybe 3 of the 20+ Posts were on topic - the answer could be buried in there somewhere

Wasn't the answer here?
Google isn't being very useful either. It can't even find this thread.

I think everyone who has to suffer MEL should get at least 600 points (if not an apology from state government)

Could you have done a survey in the lounge or something? A couple of years ago I think some Amex types were in the lounge offer points or some such for talking to them.

The points were prospectively awarded on account of the arrant nonsense you'd have to endure in this thread.

I have a strange entry in my QFF statement - can anyone shed light?

I did transit MEL on the 3rd April but have no idea what I did to earn the 600 QFF points

03 JUN 16MELBOURNEAIRPORT 03APR16- - 600-
It looks very similar to an entry I had a while back when I stayed at the Holiday Inn at Melbourne Airport and had the stay credited as QFF points rather than IHG Rewards Club points.

I did stay at the HI around that date but the points credited to IHG after I chased them, so I suspect this is the answer thanks

I think MEL is great. It actually doesn't have a curfew. I would love to see they get rid of SYD curfew to allow proper overnight flights to Asia.

You got the answer in 3 pages - and are complaining it went off topic too many times?? Gee, it's almost an AFF record for efficiency!! :D

Regards,

BD

I transit MEL 40+ times a year - I'd like to know what what triggered it so I can do it again
So you worked it out? Formulated your strategy to repeat repeat repeat?

Next time we sit and break bread remind me to convey the story about a situation where 250K pts from the heavens lobbed into a FF account.
