We all met at Lagerfield, indulged on awesome coughtails and 1 person was drinking beer

Boss + 1 headed off to a 6 star steakhouse for dinner

The rest of us headed into a chinese restaurant where we all experienced awesome food - Chee and I agreed Tom Yum was the best ever

Then (minus Boss +1) headed to 1806 and indulged in additional coughtails - OZmark having a ZOMBIE being the drink of the night...

munitalP + 1 after 1806 walked (stumbled) across the road to Rydges and abused the 1/2 price off everything platinum card and destroyed additional coughtails and majhitos...

Sounds like a very expensive shout.

It would be interesting to come down to Melbourne for drinks sometime but not if a shout is going to cost that much. I was planning on return airfares with TT SYD-BNE to cost that much.

Yeah.. The reality was that I left my epipen at home. I was not comfortable going to an Asian restaurant without it. As it turns out.... Crown was featuring Michelin Star chefs from the USA as part of the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival. We ended up having a 7 course degustation menu which was completely nut free!!

Next time... epipen in hand I will be there for dinner! I plan on attending BNE drinks soon too.

1806 was never going to be a cheap option, an was certainly a notch up from Lagerfeld, - but everyone left at that point of the night agreed to go.

Apparently drinking lots of coughtails sure makes you look younger..... It does make your eyes a bit bloodshot though.

Glad I do not drink or even crave coughtails. Reasonably priced drinks are always a hit with most people.
