Right... I was thinking we'd meet at Madame Brussels at 1730. The place is located on the 3rd floor, 59-63 Bourke St (near corner Bourke/Exhibition).

And then move on from there like we usually do, to an afterbar like either misty place or Seamstress - whatever tickles our fancy!

I'm SO looking forward to another fab AFF MEL drinks night. :D

Will prolly do dinner some time between Madame Brussels and the afterbar. Whatever people feel like on the night really.

I went to the new Hilton bar on Tuesday night - its nice, drinks are not too expensive, parking is easy and cheap, its close to public transport and they have a good selection of wine...

I liked it although nowhere near as nice as the Hyatt

So that serfty and +1 can join in, we could always start at the Hilton bar then cab it to wherever in the city. Thoughts??

I found the prices of coughtails there a bit steep though, maybe I'll just stick to wine until I hit a coughtail bar in the city.

No complaints from me; I work in South Melbourne so it would be a short wander to the Hilton :)

I'll be in Caroline Springs (never been there before, apparently about 30 minutes out of the city) on the Friday - if I can get into the city that night I'll be there.

As I will be on the other side of the continent, I won't be able to make it this month.

So that there's no confusion, here are the final details as follows:

Time: 1700ish till late (i will try to be actually on time for once seeing as i started the thread...)

Sadly I am a scratching as I won't be in MEL yet.

For those who do make it, Have a good night!

Alas I'm going to have to also withdraw (sorry about the very late notice). I've had something come up, and someone decide to fly in from Sydney who I have to catch up with early this evening:(

Will be at the next one, providing i'm in Melbourne:)
