The lowdown of yet another fun MMD:
Spotted at Madame Brussels, 1720: A confused +1 of
QF009 was the first to arrive (5 mins walk from work), but could not recognise anyone. Cue panicked phone calls. Yours truly was as usual fashionably late.
Spotted at Madame Brussels, 1745: Enters
QF009 who orders a jug of Gin Garden.
Spotted at Madame Brussels, 1800:
MelUser strolls in and joins the party. Where are you
notzac? The gin is flowing...
Spotted at Madame Brussels, 1805:
notzac dives into the gin
Spotted at Madame Brusels, 1906: A surprise visitor.
mikew made it. But what's this non-alcoholic beverage in his hands?
Spotted at Chinatown, 2003: And then there were 7,
serfty and +1 has decided to join us for a feed.
Spotted at cough Den, 2010: 4 AFFers (
mikew left for a bday party) and their +1s having dinner at one of
serfty's regular haunts. The feast consisted of spring rolls, champagne, dumplings, champagne, chicken corn soup, champagne, duck rice, champagne, a large platter of ribs, champagne - it was a booze fest with style. Oh and who's the fair maiden,
notzac?
Spotted at Seamstress, 2210: The group tried to make a break with tradition but the coughtail bar at the establishment of choice was full and its downstairs bar was deemed overly low rent.
Spotted at 1806, 2216: A warm, welcoming respite from the cold, being just around the corner. The ambience met with
serfty and +1's approval. Creativity FAIL,
QF009. But much fun was had with Taittinger, Sapphire Cilantros, Voiron Golds, Tom&Jerrys, Tom Collins's, Mountain Goat - euphemisms for premium adult entertainment? (Oh and there was Mr Earl Grey)
That's it from me - till next time. xoxo
