Wot?

Free(/Premium) drink chits?

LOL.

Point number 1

MODERATOR'S NOTE

1) As of October 1, 2010, "well" drinks are free in Admirals Clubs. Nonetheless, drink coupons still seem to be handed out to those eligible (eligible status and international travel same day), and those appear to be eligible for premium drinks, which are not covered in the "free drinks" policy. For that reason, chits are still handed out and this thread will continue to list "hidden treasure".

Nah I disagree, the note was written present tense all the way - why referring to a muffin, would the writer suddenly revert to a past tense statement in the middle of a present tense note? Anyway, we know the PAX was in Y :)

I'm not sure how the switching of tense means that other people didn't get that the passenger was in Y. Both posts #10 and #11 clearly say they were in Y, regardless of tense. I also drew that conclusion but did feel the need to mention. I also correctly deduced that it was a 734.

The author of the note refers to "stewardesses", rather old-fashioned, don't you think, in these days of flight attendants? So maybe the author was an older person??

couple of things

a) interesting example of how one person doing something (leaving the note) could potentially cause dozens or eventually hundreds of people to take up an run with an idea and where it might end??? pity there is no way of knowing who started it to let them know..

b) if the notes are going to be taken from plane to plane, then the seat details and even original flight details become a little meaningless as each flight changes, different if it was to be left in the same seat on the same plane..

c) if i ever get around to booking my RTW flight I would be happy to do this on each flight over 4 continents (and it looks like there will be many) either thinking up something to relate it back to AFF perhaps or else i might start another face book page just for my trip and people that find the note can look up and post that they have found it or follow the journey or whatever... all sorts of options out there for it to go viral.. wonder if QF would want to acknowledge in any way shape or form if we started doing it...

d) the only pain would be the notes get lost after the month end but there u go...
