Wanted to share my recent experiences with MH systems. I have award flights to europe in business coming up. This is my second booking with MH, the first being paid economy. I also have an award economy flight in June. In all cases MH website is "unable" to show my bookings on line.

But I can see them on the mobile website. I have also installed the MH App for iphone. This can find the bookings and display details.

I recently called MH to select seats for the business award. Being an award seat selection is not available during booking. The wonderful phone agent happily added my desired seats. Those seats became occupied on expert flyer. :D But the phone app will not update the booking details to show the selected seats. The phone app doesn't seem to have a way to delete a booking. I thought deleting and re-adding might pick up the details. So a bit of a flaw in the MH App that it doesn't seem to pick up details when booking change. Overall a bit of uncertainty not having confirmation of the seats.

The app is good to be able to have trip details to hand despite their unique booking system.

I know that Tripcase will happy pick up MH booking details by emailing the itinerary. But I'm finding Tripcase to be otherwise difficult - won't pick up booking reference from VA bookings, renamed a trip to the main destination city instead of leaving the name I'd given it.

Anyway, like their booking system MH is offering a unique range of experiences.

I have had similar situations when using IPad or I phone and found that it is better to use my computer.
It seems to me that the iPad and phone apps offer reduced access.
My last booking is a RTW ticket revenue in J and the best ticket was available through Round the World travel via the web
With several different airlines involved.
The agent selected seats but I wanted to make sure that I was happy with his selection.
I downloaded the trip from trip case and found the booking reference from each carrier involved
and used the individual airline references to log in and manage the booking,
but only on my computer - on the IPad I could not do it.
Maybe the merging of various apps, airline systems and the other various booking engines still have someway
to go !

I think that's Malaysia in general
;) Although I don't think it's limited to MH - there are a number of airlines that are very inconsistent across their web site, mobile site and app. Back to the trusty printer and paper, eh?

Maybe you could try deleting the application's data and re-running (easy enough on Android, don't know about iDevices) or perhaps uninstalling and re-installing?

I also have them printed out. ;) I was looking for some verification that the seats were in the booking, something that seems to be almost impossible to find.

I'll try that.

Edit: hahaha. No dice. Not surprised it didn't work.

Have faith. Have done this several times in business and always get the seat they have said they allocated me over the phone.

Flying next week on a redemption so I rang up to book chef on call and request my second preference seat (as I noticed on expert flyer my first preference was taken already). Doh! As I booked this redemption over phone in the first place I had already allocated my preferred seat, but forgot. Lucky the agent reminded me I already had seat allocated.

If you touch and hold your finger on the trip in the list of all your trips it gives you the option to delete. Saying that I've tried on my booking where I called up for a reward booking and chose my seat via phone, deleted the booking and re-added it, but it didn't show my seats.

I don't know of anyway you can check other the the ticket. You can ask them to re-email you the e-ticket to be sure.
