What part of One World Sapphire don't they understand? Are they thinking you have to be Qantas Club Member & not realise that Gold & Platinum is the same thing?![]()
Apparently when they swiped my card, my status appeared as "Ruby" on their screen. I'm not sure why this was the case, the AA flights were booked after I had reached Saphire/Gold status on QF. I had to point out that not only did the boarding passes they issued me stated "Priority Access - Saphire" - but reiterated that my QF Gold/Saphire card was current (with an expiry of April 2012 printed on it).
The ladies on the door were not very helpful/friendly on either occasion. They told me I had to speak with Qantas to sort it out, and I was to "step away from the counter Sir". Once I asked to speak with the Manager, I was told, "Well I'm going to let you in this once".
