Misread expiry date of SC's, now no Platinum

I reckon the 200 SC's will drop off before the flight on the 07/06/14 is credited.

Is your opinion that I’m entitled to WP, or am I (just like the OP) leaving my fate in the hands of the VFF gods?

I think if you could have booked a flight on the 6th June or earlier, there would be no doubt of WP. As it stands, I'm guessing your 200 points will drop off on the 7th and the new credits add either on the 7th, or more likely the next day or so after. I think you will be in the hands of the VFF gods, IMO.

I would not leave it to fate - travel those 10SC's between now and May ... ever heard of "Mileage Runs" OR "Status Credit runs"? :p

Otherwises, perhaps you can refare a short segment already booked, say MEL-SYD, to a Flexi fare for the additional 10 SC?
