Most desirable cards

The Melbourne equivalent would be Silk Road, Bar & Lounge on Collins St.

Interesting - I didn't realise that it was a members only type venue. We had our work christmas party there last year - nice venue, decent selection behind the bar though perhaps a little too trendy for someone like me :p

My most desirable cards are discounts and credit cards. As of now I have Citi Gold & HSBC Visa and Payoneer Prepaid Mastercard. I closed my other credit card account because for practical reason :).

Fairly young crowd, although there's an old bloke who's there all the time...word is he owns half the strip clubs in Sydney!

Cheers,
- Febs.

Hey Febs - if you don't mind me asking: how old are you?

Febs - U are the man!!!! Ivy Pool Club Membership is definitely the most desirable card so far and I'm jealous.

Guess I'll have to keep on eyeing the pool from the Westin Hotel Executive Lounge and be greeny with envy!

Now the big question - when can you guest me in? ;)

Haha, any time. :) I think they've actually been getting a bit more lenient with allowing people in lately (GFC and all that?) - mid-week I've often just walked straight in, and even on Fri/Sat nights it's a lot more crowded than it was a few months ago.

JohnK's on the money - 25 (though I don't know I'd call that "very young" ;)).

Cheers,
- Febs.

Ahhh... 25... I remember it well!

I'd like to be 25 again, but know what I know now. It's not too much to ask, is it? ;)

The $20k/pa rumour sounds similar to price that were quoted for 'De Nom' at Ruby Rabbit when it first opened.

Whilst not in the same league, the Kit&Kaboodle membership is also pretty nice.

Back in the day the equivalents were Hugos and Cargo Lounge memberships...

I've heard De Nom is stil $10k pa, but that includes a bunch of extras, including a few limo transfers each year to the venue.

Amazing little bar (most interesting toilets I've seen anywhere!), but not worth $10k. Turn up before 11pm well-dressed with a girl, and you're bound to get in anyway. That's what I do. :)

Hugos and Cargo are still decent venues IMO. Cargo's actually run by the same people as Kit&Kaboodle/Sugarmill (and also Bungalow 8, Loft and Fringe Bar). Bloke who manages Cargo Lounge these days is a champion.

Cheers,
- Febs.
