Good work dot - how are the donations running?
poor - only $40 so far...:( - just about to send out another email to those that haven't donated... will include the latest photo to see if that encourages anyone...

Dot,

I thought you would have gone the handlebars again!!

And mine...

Nah, Mrs Dot still shudders every time she walks past the family portrait taken last Movember - so no Fu-Manchu for me this year. I asked those I sent the email to for suggestions. The only one so far has been a handlebar mo, but I don't think I will have enough length by the end of the month to tease the ends up Biggles style.

I am leaning toward the Walrus (as seen on Richard Strawbridge (Scrapheap Challenge and plenty of other BBC reality shows) and Jamie Hyneman (Mythbusters)). I have my doubts about the achieveability of this option too, but you never know if you never try...

Wow, just found this thread.

Up to $720 here. Lucky though in that my employer matches all employee donations dollar-for-dollar. :)

Will try to upload a photo tomorrow. Anyone else attending the Sydney event on 28th Nov?

Cheers,
- Febs.

Can one donate for specific Mo punters?

Would like to encourage the members here ... :p

If you have the members Movember reference you can easily sponsor them individually. Otherwise you can search for a member on the movember website if you know their name.

Okay, I've donated to simongr and nlagalle (and 3 other friends).

Who wants another donation :?: - dot, Febs, swan_tim it appears you have willing donors here in serfty and me. Post or PM you Registration Number.

Thanks for the donations - my team have now eclipsed the amount I personally raised last year so I am hoping to get the team over $1000 by the end :)

I've donated to simongr and am up for a couple more if, as Lindsay has suggested, you identify yourselves.

Will donate in the next couple of days Febs and Nick. (gotta spread the amex transactions out a bit). You have a facebook friend request Febs.

special thanks to Lindsay, simongr and sefty who have all donated!

my mo space is here:

# 1946971

if anyone else wants to donate!

I've raised nearly $600 so far, so I am pretty stoked! I started off doing this as a bit of a dare to grow the mo, but will be definately doing it again next year!

Cheers,

Nick

I am going to keep it to a max of one donation per day so I don't trigger the dreaded "Amex Bill Splitting Police" ;)

I was thinking about the Amex issue earlier also. I plan to make a small donation to each person in my team as well...

I don't fear them, NM as each donation can be easily shown to be to a specific person. I only fear somebody asking me to grow a Mo in the future - tried it before, but it is like a drowned emaciated rat, scratchy, multi coloured (grey, red & brown) and Mrs LW likes me clean shaven.

Febs, you've got another donation. Sorry your employer can't match it :(

Of course, any donations for Christmas to charity will count as transactions if they accept Amex. Looks like I'll be a big donator this year! Just opened the envelope from The Smith Family - yippee, noticed that they accept Amex.

Hi Everyone - I am also doing Movember and the link to my account is;

http://au.movember.com/mospace/1673806

Even if it's a $2 donation, I would be very grateful if you could help a good cause....I will also donate to anyone in this thread if they like too! I'll scour the thread and anyone with details will have a donation tonight when I get home from work!

My team so far has raised over $1000 and are on track to double that by months end.

My father had prostate cancer 4 years ago so I am pretty passionate about the issue

Thank you in advance

ps
I have made up to 7 donations on the same day - all different people.. I don't think AMEX can get upset by this as it's to seperate people... all legit - they even send you the invoice to your email
