Moving to AAdvantage after QF LTG?

Except for maybe Jetstar metal, AAdvantage does not appear to have a restriction with earning on non QF metal, but with a QF flight number (codeshare).

The QF flight number in an eligible booking class seems to be the basic requirement.

No AA miles if a QF codeshare on TN.
I would check with AA first if on EK metal.

Somewhat on topic.. I have a J AKL - mel flight in a few days...should I credit to qf? Or can I credit to AA? Booked on qf website but ek metal...

No status with either airline.

There was some discussion with links in another thread regarding QF codeshare on EK metal (from post #614 onwards):

Bottom line is it would credit to both AA and QFF.
As for if you should, or why you should - that is a separate matter depending on your situation, needs and wants....
