Paid CSA on Friday and still waiting (guidelines bar ATO spend but is silent on other Govt agencies).[/QUOTE said:
Points arrived a week after minimum spend (yesterday in my case). Immediately transferred to velocity which arrived the following day (today). Seems non-ATO govt spending is kosher. Now to cancel. Once again very happy with NAB's efficiency. If it weren't for the billions they gouge from consumers I might feel bad for them. Instead I feel like a suburban Robin Hood.

Reminds me of one of my favourite lines from Boston legal
Alan shore : I feel like a half robin hood
Other guy: what do you mean
Alan: I take from the rich....
Other guh:and..?
Alan: I keep it for myself.. Hence the half

if for some reason your card is reissued Before the bonus comes through, you will need to phone them to ensure that the bonus carries over to the newly issued card.

When would I do this?, also I'm guessing that any NAB rewards points will stay in your account as far as you have 1 credit card that earns nab rewards

Bonus points received on my latest card. Only took less than two weeks after minimum spend. Strangely I received the leftover few thousand points from my previous card despite being told I would lose them when I cancelled. I would try (with feelings of guilt) to transfer cancel and go again for my 6th NAB card since last April but I am OS till the end of July so it's looks like NAB and my credit rating will get a little respite.

Points came in within a few weeks of meeting minimum purchase. Was going to hold the card until a bonus transfer offer was available and luckily received an email from Velocity this week offering a 15% transfer bonus.

Points transferred, card closed (nice girl on phone asking...."didn't you just open this last month?) and now just waiting for the right time to apply for my 5th NAB card in the last 12 months resulting in over 250,000 Velocity pts.......as I run to check the latest NAB Velocity offer. Surely NAB will soon put a limit on the time you wait till you open the next card and get bonus pts.

Nice one mate. It's a bit of a drought out there for VA points at the moment. SQ put up the cost of their redemptions recently so I need a few more. I think I'll reapply for this.

So you had no dramas ? I'll give it a go.

OH bummer. I transferred my points out with out knowing of the 15% bonus. Should have waited.... Oh well. Live and learn

I take it the fee free offer has ended now, is that correct? I was keen on the $0!

Free offer still available.

Note:

"and enjoy $0 annual card fee for the first year*"

Appears to end May 31.

Transfer from NAB rewards since Tue 4/25/2017 11:02 AM , points still not arrive yet :(

anyone experience delay ?

I have a classic card and will hit minimum spend in 2 weeks , can I apply for a platinum card not even so I haven't got the 40k bonus on my classic card and still get it on my platinum card when I hit minimum spend on that as well

Bonus points posted pretty quickly for me. I hit the minimum spend as soon as I was aware that Virgin were running their 15% bonus offer. Bonus points came through in just a few days. Xfered to Virgin and they usually post within a day or two as well. Happy days.

Applied and approved within a few hrs. Thanks to the OP for the heads up!

The first few posts in this thread mention pay slip verification but haven't seen many mentions after... there doesn't seem to be a minimum income for Plat (only a $6k min credit limit you need to qualify for), so just curious if there's a minimum you need to meet and how thorough they're being these days? Am sure it wouldn't be an issue but don't want to go to the trouble of declaring *everything* (multiple income sources) and getting all the paperwork together if I could just declare one source and be done with it! :)

Yes, was asked to supply my two most recent pay slips.

do the bonus points for this one post separately to the monthly statement? i.e. if you meet the spend limit between statement 1 and statement 2 you will get the bonus points partway through.

Points all come at the same time from memory.
