I'm thinking of going for this about 3 weeks before my annual health insurance is due. If I go through the Pointshack guy, he will get a bit of support for his valuable info as there's no other referrals available on here is there?

They did say in the terms and conditions that it would be 4 months after you make the minimum spend. I don't think we can complain too much if they comply with that. Other cards that pay earlier are just a bonus.

my 4 months ticked over a few days ago, and still no points. they haven't answered any 'secure messages' either. I wouldn't be surprised if it takes for the next card sweep to go through. not happy jan.

Just applied for this and approved in principle subject to talking to my accountant. I called up re a point and was told that I'd get a $7K limit - pretty low, but that's OK, initially it's the sign on bonus I'm interested in.

Yeh I've had 2 statements since I reached the mark and have got nothing .

Mrs andye cancelled her NAB Velocity last week. Nothing offered to retain (fee free anyway with home loan)

I think I made the minimum spend in the first month. Was over Christmas so had some big bills to pay plus I had an unexpected flight for a funeral which was QF/JQ. Dunno if that changed things as I was not expecting them until at least the 4th month, based on other points deal with other card providers.
Maybe my luck is finally changing???

Hopefully! haha. See that fits in with my assessment date theory, cause they are apparently in January, May and September, but maybe its all a complete coincidence. I have to wait until May regardless, but it would be nice if it was a little clearer.

Are the overseas charges and exchange rates as abysmal as almost all other cc (other thanks BW World)?

I'd imagine there's ZERO prospect of getting the points inside of a month. I managed the qualifying spend in November but nothing come through for me yet. About to tick over the 90 days mark so will see how soon things progress after that.

I have had this card for about 4 years. Got a sign up bonus back then. You have to remember that the card does not apply points or bonus points mid month ( each statement shows points earned for the month ).... it is only at the completion of the billing cycle you see the total earned. Monthly points post to velocity approx 2 days after statement date... I expect that if they hold to the 4 months then you should see them on your 4th statement

Nab is bad for setting up direct debit I have faxed in the direct debit twice now and they have never applied and now suggest I go to a local branch

Sad face indeed. Better check the date that you meet minimum spend. t&C's state points will be awarded 4 months from the date of min spend....not 4 months after the month of the minimum spend.

My minimum spend was met on 2nd November, so hopefully I'll see them soon!

Good news, Just got my 60k bonus points. Dated 04/03 and 1st spend on the the card was Dec 2015. Hang in there folks
