Myself and Mrs Mac had points post today. Every time this thread has activity I got my hopes up about seeing good news, glad it has finally happened! (We were still in the 90 day period since qualifying though so NAB met their obligations to us)

$150 for 25 000 VFF is not the best deal at the moment. I would direct your application effort elsewhere until another NAB offer becomes exploitable.

Just what I have done... starting to explore the world of Qantas at the moment... just waiting for my Bankwest application to go through. Never had so much problems with an application though :p Two trips to the bank and 5 emails. Anz and Amex was a three second job, this one I am still waiting after 6 days.
Never mind... Started up a spreadsheet for credit cards. Need to collect about 250,000 Qantas points in less then a year :D I am up for some work.

mine arrived yesterday also, my second NAB application this year (60 + 75)
And, like RoseAnna, I am also about to delve into the dark (Qantas!) side, as there doesn't seem to be any decent velocity value around right now.
 
How long is everyone waiting for their points to post? My qantas ones came really quickly but these velocity ones are taking months now..
 
FWIW my points and Mrs Blingy's points posted today.

Still have not received any points been bout 70 days since meeting requirements
 
Unfortunately, the T&Cs state 90 days after reaching prescribed spend. Call up if no progress on the 90th day.

My points also received over the weekend after meeting minimum spend first week of November.

Now just waiting on 60k from ANZ Travel Adventures, but only made that minimum spend 3 weeks ago.
 
Suggesr you look at the approach i took as detailed on the hsbc credit card thread when i had similar issues. The minimum you should aim for is a full refund of the annual fee.

I called to close my card today. Asked for reimbursement of annual fee.....answer "no can do as you have received bonus points". I reminded them that NAB had breached their T&C's and also how others had been given pro rata or full AF refunds. "again no can do".

I then asked to speak to a manager but after the banker at the call centre put me on hold he then came back and said..." no can do. I can only raise a dispute and they will address the issue"

Dr Ralph. Did you have to jump through hoops like this.

Surely if a bank breaches it own T&C's I am entitled to some compensation.

Then again maybe they see that I got 3 lots of BP's and are playing hardball as a result.

Will keep trying.

I am presuming you applied for the card, got the points, and now want the annual fee refunded..? Ridiculous if that's the case

What T&C have they actually breached?

Fine if your at the start of a new year and your cancelling, but not in this case. Age of entitlement eh!

Surely if a bank breaches it own T&C's I am entitled to some compensation.

Then again maybe they see that I got 3 lots of BP's and are playing hardball as a result.

Not sure that I commented in this thread about getting a refund for an annual fee with this card specifically.

In other threads - such as for HSBC - I've certainly commented that I have sought and obtained a full refund if they failed to deliver the bonus points within the stated time frame. As this constitutes a breach of a condition of a contract.

If this is what has occurred for you I suggest you follow the approach that I described in detail in the HSBC thread. I've always advocated putting your concerns in writing. I almost never call a bank. Putting it in writing puts you in a superior position in my view - especially useful if they fail to respond or claim that they have no record of a conversation taking place (which in my experience happened every time I dealt with CitiBank before they received the lifetime DrRalph ban).
