where on the website does it say 20k?

On the NAB website. If you don't use the link in this thread and go directly to the NAB site it has exactly the same card with similar offers and points value but with only 20000 bonus points and the points bonus is on first spend not after $1500 in first 3 months.

Just called NAB. Despite having only cut up my old NAB card a few weeks ago after pocketing 60000 pts I have been approved and my cards dispatched for this 75000 bonus offer. Agent on phone confirmed I am eligible for the bonus. Thanks NAB.
That's great! I'm worried though that it might not work for me though as I still have my old NAB Velocity cards. Might be worth giving them a call to see if I can cancel it and then re-apply for the new offer. I don't want to close the account and then re-apply and be told I'm ineligible.

Anyone one have any more info on this one for holders within the last 12 months? I closed my NAB Velocity 60k point card at the start of the month after switching to ANZ a few months back. I've just qualified for the ANZ reward points and was going to cycle onto Westpac, but would be happy to go back to the NAB card and grab the 75k points if allowed.

Currently have the Qantas Nab card . Can i just apply for this card and have both card together without cancel the qantas one ?

Apparently some people have had success with reapplying for the card and getting credited for the bonus point. However I would wait till the end of August just to apply for this one in case you don't get the points.

Just got off the phone with Nab credit card team they advise me to go ahead and apply for this credit card that mean dont need to cancel the Qantas Premium i currently have with last 60k bonus . Nab have no problem with customer having 2 cards at the same time .

I got this card in Feb. Wondering whether to cancel now and apply again at end of August? Does the NAB site show VA points credited? I'd give up the few outstanding VA points now if I thought I'd get 75K ;)

That's what I'm thinking of doing. If you don't get the points then you've only wasted an hour or so cancelling the card and reapplying for it. Would love to hear if anyone has done this yet and received the points.

Dammit if I had known I would have applied for the bonus from last round. :(

I have mine and just waiting on the points after meeting the minimum spend. Interesting that this is the only bonus point offer that I can remember that does not mention a 12 month wait from having a previous card to qualify. Nice.

i think its only the Amex issued cards that have the 12month rule. bank issued ones im pretty sure dont

What's the average turn around time from approval to receiving cards/pins?

What's the average turn around time from approval to receiving cards/pins?

From my past experiences with NAB, they seem to be one of the fastest, if not the fastest. Unless you're in the middle of nowhere with infrequent mail deliveries, I think it's fairly safe to say that you'll be up and running in under a week.

What's the average turn around time from approval to receiving cards/pins?

3 business days from approval to receiving the cards in the mail (Sydney metro) and got the pins 2 days later.

I've hit the $1500 spend, now just waiting for the 75k points. Rang up and asked them how long it takes and he mentioned "up to four statement cycles, but should be credited after the 90 days is up". Now to play the waiting game:rolleyes:

Approved on a Thursday morning then received in Monday's mail ! (Tassie)

Visited branch the next day instead of waiting for pins to arrive

Tassie as well, received on 3rd business day. Friday night application, received Wednesday.
Linked the AMEX up to paypal the same day and now only $100 away from $150 spend :)

I ended up getting my cards 3 days after being successful. Slightly annoying you can't go online to change your pin or call up. They said you can only change your pin at a NAB ATM.

Does anyone know if you earn points on council/shire rates? I have a $2000 bill so that will get me over the $1500 in one hit. I also have an Amex Velocity Platinum.
