Yes rates are OK for you spend and points but some have a CC surcharge.

Does anyone know how to view current points AMEX and Visa you've earnt with NAB? On Amex they have the 'View Points Summary' that comes up once a transaction has been processed. I'm guessing you can only see the points summary with NAB on their monthly statements?

Yep, only the total Amex and total visa points for the month as part of your monthly statement. Points will then transfer to velocity 1-2 days later. No mid month (or by transaction) ability to view them unfortunately

Yes. The NAB website is very poor as far as checking point allocation is concerned. I have had issues with other banks when points were not allocated correctly at times. They have readily reallocated them once I checked. With NAB this is very difficult to do.

When I churned my last NAB card I gave this as the reason.

Got my cards about 10 days ago. Met the $2000 spend on the 26th July. 75,000 POINTS CREDITED 30 July. Quickest bonus points EVER!

I just checked my velocity account and mine have been credited too. I got the card on 2nd July. Hit the $1500 spend on 9th July. Points credited on 29th July. Thanks for coming!

Good to hear that the NAB have relaxed a little. Previous experience was they took the full three months to pay the bonus.

I have given my QF cards the flick and finally received my new Velocity Premium on Friday afternoon (thanks Australia Post for prompt delivery.... NOT). Made the qualifying spend yesterday so hopefully the 75k bonus will be making its way into my Velocity account in the near future.

I've also had a good turnaround time - got the card on Jul 12th, met the spend on Jul 22nd and got the points on Jul 30th :)

I am going to cancel my existing NAB premium rewards card today and apply again at the end of the month. Did anyone who got their bonus points today (in the current round of points releases) do something similar to this? I want to make sure I don't waste 150 dollars. TIA

Wow that's awesome. I'm still waiting on 2 x 60k from previous promotion....

Just got declined in theory. NAB only offered $3000 which apparently does not qualify me for the platinum card. I had this feeling like they knew I was only after the points (maybe VEDA application history gave it away). Guess I've gotta lay off applying for credit cards at the moment. Meanwhile Westpac approve me for $15k?

Got an email to call them. Called and was told that I was only approved for the lesser product. The lady did say though she can get it manually approved. Got a text that next to call them again. Called and was told that I was successful in the manual review and approved for the premium card with 75k points. Also requested to send in pay slips. Now awaiting the cards.

Really, you can get 2 lots of bonus points in a short space of time?! I rec'd my first lot in March - only 60K, but another 75K would be seriously useful, esp as now extended to 02 October

I've already received two lots so, what the hell, I might cancel and try for three. Nothing in the T&C about 12 month wait.

You may not even have to cancel... I rang up to cancel one and was going to apply for another. They said there was a better chance if I left it open and applied for the additional one first!! We discussed points and everything so I applied and was approved online for a second card! Points are yet to post as I haven't hit the spend yet - but all sounds like I should :)

Ms Grounded applied for one of these during April (60k bonus) - end July she got credited with only 20k. She definitely applied before the Apr 30 deadline as we were, shall we say, very aware of that.

Interesting as I didn't have such luck. I received the card in Feb, made the minimum spend immediately but the points weren't credited until after the 90 day period for the minimum spend. (So it took 4 statements before the points were processed.) I did query it and they said that was the rule. Maybe too many people were calling so they changed it. Annoying if you needed the points to snap up some flights as I did, but otherwise a terrific deal.

I am pretty happy with this offer - card approved 29th June, hadn't met the spend when I got the first unexpected statement on 13th July  but did a few days later. 75k signup bonus landed in the velocity account 29th July - just waiting for the points from my spend to post in the next few days - then I will cancel.
