I'm joining! This is a great idea and will come in handy for my travel plans over the next two years.

Fantastic. Welcome aboard. Contact 'Admin' to get further details.

I'm guessing we should now have the numbers to get the scheme up and running?

Yes, we do have numbers :)

All those who has contacted me over the last 2 days, do need to send through the completed application form and payment details by Friday 10 August, as requested in the PM I would have send back to you. Expressing interest is fine - but to get the show off the road, I need commitment. And that means a completed form + payment details!

Assuming we have the numbers, I will send off the individual forms + application for corporate membership to Qantas on Friday evening.

So, if you are interested in being part of this "founding group", please:

1. Please complete the Individual Member Application form (http://www.qantas.com.au/infodetail/...rpIndivApp.pdf).

2. Mail the form, together with the applicable fee (if a cheque, make it out to Qantas NOT The Australian Frequent Flyer) to:

The Australian Frequent Flyer
PO Box 343
St. Kilda
VIC 3182

PLEASE DO THIS BY NEXT FRIDAY, 10 AUGUST.

3. Private Message me (admin) saying that the form is on the way.

I will advise you as to the status of the application.

As addicited as some of us are to gaining status, will members of the "founding group" get a little gold star next to their name...:)

In addition to the gold star for the "founding group", consider this as another incentive to get your completed form to me by friday:

At the moment, any registered member of the AFF Online Community can apply for our Corporate QF Club scheme. We do reserve the right to - in future - restrict AFF Corporate QF Club membership to our GOLD members only. So, if you are not a GOLD AFF member and wish to enjoy the benefit of this scheme, make sure I get your completed form by friday!

Just one further question:
On the form, which schedule do we select? Schedule 1 is $485 per year, Schedule 2 is $450 per year?

See Section above that: Residency – for Australian GST purposes

Schedule 1 is GST inclusive for Australian residents, Schedule 2 is GST exclusive (e.g. O/S memberships).

If your Membership is for Business reasons you will be able to claim ¹/11th as input tax credits.

Don't forget to get your forms to admin by this coming Friday (10th August)!

Am happy to report that I now have 10 - the required minimum - application forms (with payment details) for our Qantas Club corporate scheme. :p

I will be applying to the Qantas Club for corporate membership on behalf of those applicants this friday afternoon.

So, if you want to ensure that your application goes off on friday, please ensure that I receive your application form + payment details by friday morning. If you haven't already mailed it, you will probably need to send it Express Mail.

Our corporate scheme is currently open to all our registered members - not just GOLD subscribers. So, if you are not a GOLD subscriber and wish to join our corporate scheme, get your form to me ASAP!

Yep, I am going to the nearest post office now with my forms! so I predict my letter will be in the express post gold box within 15minutes of this post!

Hope we get these QC all approved soon!

Ps. I hope the partner AA lounges let me enjoy them in a few weeks times when I'm doing a few intra-U.S flights.

Of course, in the interest of balance, I have to ask if there is any interest in admin setting up a "The Lounge" corporate account - for 10+ members, and if so, what the pricing may be?

Good to see the persistence pay off. Well done all (including admin, of course :) ) and hope to catch you in the QP sometime. And I can envisage a day I may well end up joining you via the AFF corporate scheme!

I have a membership already, and would be happy to transfer my lounge membership over if there is such a corp. account.

Success! My FF account now shows up as Qantas Club Bronze. Fantastic work Clifford!

Yeah - good news fellas :) (and maybe fellarettes)) - one day we might cross paths in the lounge!

To be forever known as a FOUNDING member of this Qantas Club Program is a highlight in my life, and an honour I share with very few others... I am anxiously awaiting the little gold star to appear next to my name ......

I started this thread as a minor project, others ran with it, and has grown to become something I am now very proud of.... I would like to thank my parents, friends, associates, and of course the operators of the frequentflyer.com.au website without which I would only be a Silver.

On a more serious side... Thanks, I am sure it couldnt have been easy getting trying to get the final commitment from everyone.

Cheers
