New 100 Year anniversary Q Tags

Since my previous John Cleese attempt was not even acknowledged by anyone at Qantas (but thank you @Matt_01), I have had another attempt today using the on line form. Let's see if that has any more luck. Is there some other way that people are getting through on this topic eg by email?

Yes - it was e-mail for me... From my post #259, up-thread:
I went the e-mail route rather than the online form... I had an automated reply with an SR number almost right away, and then [my] Jennifer wrote about 7 hours later to say my pack would be sent out
E-mail address used was frequent_flyer [at] qantas.com.au

Cheers,
Matt.

Sounds like poor excuse. Seems it really depends who gets to handle your request. After the debacle I’ve experienced last year (which is documented on this forum) this year only had to send one email, got almost instant confirmation and coaster arrived in 10 days.

Not everything went smoothly though, while I had confirmation for new card as well it didn’t arrive. Looks like QF scrapped physical cards all together which is a shame, especially when I receive new FF cards from other airlines I’m not at all loyal to, without even requesting them.

Ok looks like QF still offer cards, but there is a delay. Here is the response to a followup email asking if cards and coasters are being sent separately.

We humbly apologise for the delay in the shipping of the card. Yes, you are supposed to receive it separately and the card was just dispatched within the week.

Rest assured that it's already in transit and should arrive in the next 10-14 business days.

So excited. I just got this message from the lovely July in response to my initial "John Cleese's parrot" request sent on 16 May. And from the wording with "humbly apoologize if we may have overlooked your initial request", it was not an automated response. Anyway, the lovely July will send me 1 Bag Tag! In 10-14 days - which is a bit tight for my flight on 18 June, but thanks to @Matt_01 I have a working tag anyway. Feeling very happy right now. Take that, Jennifer!

After not hearing back to that request, I lodged another one last week , so maybe I will even end up with a tag from that request as well. Cornucopia!

I requested another for MrsM a day or so after I sent your care package, this arrived last week. It is just speculation, I think the 100 tags will be around for a while or until QF comes up with a new branding opportunity.
