Interesting - looks like 24 gets blocked - will have to try and get 24 when possible. I assume EF doesnt show toilets / galley layout.

Anyone else got maps / info? What's the Y class layout - work out how many on UD?

and the new whY seat map including UD

Those UD Y seats would be great. For starters, the 2-4-2 config means you can get a PE feel near the windows and not have to clamber over a 3rd stranger. Plus, I can't imagine that the Y staff from downstairs would be servicing the cabin, meaning you'd probably have your own crew, or be sharing with the PE cabin. Wonder if the PE folk have to share the Y toilets?

What's happening to the PE seats if the UD Y seats are numbered 32-35?

They get renumbered 24-28 - see post #40:

Thanks, didn't see it the first time round.
Looks like row 24 is the new 38.. first to be served meals and disembark (well in the PE cabin anyway)!

Going by the City Flyer Logo and the old QF logo, I'd imagine that is fairly dated.

Still on the QF web when you look at A330 inflight experience.

You'd think with the backlash against 2-3-2 on J they'd get rid of it.....

THe original A330's (now with Jetstar) were indeed 2-3-2. Wonder what will happen to that config when the A330's go back to Qantas.

QF Equipment Change QF12 LAX/SYD 20 Jul?

Just going through my booking to/from LAX scheduled to travel in Y+ both ways with 34A preassigned , however it appears on my return I have no seat assigned and the seat map goes from row 24-28 inclusive, rather than the usual 34-39 for Y+ on the A380.
Picked up row 24, however the seat map doesn't line up with the scheduled A380 (which is shown when the link in the flight no# is clicked)

Edit: Never mind , didn't see the re-config thread

So what effect will the reconfiguration have on the Emerald City? Will it be opened up as part of the main cabin?

Re: QF Equipment Change QF12 LAX/SYD 20 Jul?

No -J loses the last two rows with W moving forward and additional Y seats crammed in at the back. As posted earlier, few changes on the lower deck.

And new row 15 (AB & JK) at the front of the second business cabin....

The changes on the lower deck are at the front of Y rows 48-50

Re: QF Equipment Change QF12 LAX/SYD 20 Jul?

Actually there are also changes to the rear of the first section of economy as well on the left hand side (toilet removed) also allowing for an extra row

I know Ryanair toyed with that idea but I don't think even they have actually stooped so low as yet.
